hmmm ff is the only reason why there's ie8 now, otherwise we'd still be using ie4

Opera and FireFox as they are now will still be galaxies ahead of this latest IE skin and even up to IE69!

any reason why we should install ie8 beta 2? is it as crappy as the last beta? i uninstalled that after about five minutes...

It's full of BigBroAwareWare, and bloated generation wh'Y' features, and I can speculate unless you run Vista with it, it will be a multi maulware magnet in other Windows

IE8, is at first glance...an Opera imitator! Yes it runs fast (or seems to) but that may be because it gets a free run in Windows, and gums the others...hmmm?
